1. About us

2. Agreement to these terms
By registering for or accepting Don Rewards membership, you ("you", "your business") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register.
3. Membership
Businesses accepted onto The Don Rewards receive a free introductory period of 3 days from the date their listing goes live, to set up their profile, with no payment due during that time. From day 4 onwards, membership continues at £30 per month plus VAT (currently £36 per month inc. VAT), collected by Direct Debit, with no long-term contract. Membership includes 12 months of advertising and a full directory listing on The Don Rewards website, and access to our member audience.
4. Don video discount
Members are entitled to a 20% discount off the standard rate for a professional promotional video filmed by The Don ("Don Video"). The Don Video is an optional add-on and is not included automatically in membership; it is booked and charged separately at the discounted rate.
5. Payment
Payments begin from day 4 of membership, once your free 3-day trial ends. Payments are collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless, our sole payment processor for business members. Any GoCardless transaction fees are covered by us, not you: the rate you sign up at is the rate you pay. By registering, you authorise us to collect your membership payments via Direct Debit for as long as your membership continues. If a payment fails, we may retry collection or contact you to arrange an alternative.
6. Your offer to members
As a condition of membership, you agree to provide an ongoing discount, offer or deal to The Don Rewards members, as described in your registration. You are responsible for setting, and honouring, the days and times during which your offer is valid, and for telling us accurately so we can publish them to members. You may update your offer at any time by contacting us; changes take effect once we've confirmed them in writing.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time, including during your free 3-day trial. Cancellation requires written notice (email is sufficient). We do not offer refunds for periods already paid for, except where required by law. We may suspend or terminate your membership if you breach these Terms, in particular if you fail to honour the offer described in Section 6, or if payment cannot be collected.
8. Intellectual property
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use your business name, logo and any materials you provide (including for a Don Video) for the purposes of advertising, marketing and operating The Don Rewards. You confirm you have the right to grant this licence and that the materials you provide do not infringe any third party's rights.
9. Accuracy of information
You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide us, including your business details, is accurate and kept up to date.
10. Data protection
We process personal data you provide in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR. For details of how we use your data, please contact us at hello@wearethedon.co.uk.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your membership is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes, for example by email or by posting an update on this page.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
